Trade Missions for SME's and Micro Business (Micro Missions)

NOTE:-
SME's - Small and Medium sized Enterprises are defined as employing up to 200 people.
Micros Businesses defined as employing up to 10 people.

Exports account for a large portion of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Exporting is encouraged by most UK governments and assistance is sometimes offered in order to help achieve objectives. Micro businesses and SME,s have traditionally been active in exporting.

A proven resource to aid export success is to take part in overseas trade missions. However, the high profile ones, organised by such institutions as Business Links and Chambers of Commerce, can be expensive and not very effective for micro businesses. Even though they are sometimes subsidised by the government, much of this is taken up by administration and are still out of financial reach of many micro businesses.

PW International, having identified the problems, now organises Overseas Trade Missions specifically for micro business (Micro Missions). We utilise the services of the British Embassies in country and set up meetings with qualified and identified buyers in the mission country.

We do not use the fee paid by delegates for 5 star hotels and expensive travel as is often the case with the Government sponsored missions, but comfortable and suitable ones for business. As a tourism business we are able to negotiate the best fares and accommodation.

Prior to departure, first time delegates on one of our Micro Missions are required to attend a briefing and training in Negotiation and Selling in order to gain the maximum benefit from the trip. If required, we also arrange for delegates to stay longer in order to either use the time to see more buyers, or to enjoy some leisure time at reasonable cost.
